I am fortunate to have discovered my love of horticulture at an early age which developed into a varied professional career. From California to Chicago in 2006, I have worked for the Lincoln Park Conservatory and the Garfield Park Conservatory within the Chicago Park District.
For the past five years, at the Lincoln Park Zoo I have worked to connect people to nature by developing the gardens. The zoo can boast of 7 green roofs, an established 14-acre, several recent garden renovations, and more work coming up soon! Our horticulture staff is dedicated, expert in zoo horticultural practices, and excited about native plantings and wildlife in the heart of the city. As a public garden, the zoo grounds inspire, support the zoo’s mission, and absolutely are destination worthy!
